Walkthrough Limbo – Episode 10ĭodge falling traps. To do this, just run back. Climb up the rope on the left and move to the right along the wooden platforms. Here you will see a mechanical spider. Wait until he raises his paw, then run forward. Chase the guy. As soon as you see a burning tire, step back and jump over the abyss. Come back and keep running forward. Climb up the stairs. Limbo’s visual style is impressive and works for the dark atmosphere of the game Episode 9 Run from one stump to another until you see a rotten trunk. Climb onto a thin stick, jump in place and step back. Keep moving forward until you see a stone flying at you. You need to jump over it. You won’t be able to get to the girl – you will fall down. Jump onto the rope, but don’t swing at first. Wait for the trap to fall and only then jump onto the adjacent rock. Run forward until you fall into a trap. After you are wrapped in a web, press the movement keys to free yourself. When you fall down, jump to the right, push the stone and step aside so that you will not be hit by the falling tree trunk. When you find yourself on a boulder, do not rush to go down. The rock will roll, and you must constantly jump back to stay at its top. The more often you jump, the faster the boulder will roll. You can’t hesitate – a spider is chasing you. When you get to the ledge, jump onto it and slide down. The spider is the first serious opponent in the game. One wrong move – and your hero will die Episode 6 Here you will meet a huge spider for the first time. As soon as you see him, retreat. Find the trap and drag it to the monster. Wait for him to swing to hit you with his paw, and set a trap at this point. Repeat the procedure two more times. After that, the spider will run away, and you can go further. Move on until you see a wooden box. Drag it to the left, to the hanging rope. Climb along it, swing and jump to the adjacent branch. Climb to the very top and push the rotten top of the tree. Go down the same way. Drag the fallen trunk into the water until you yourself dive up to the neck, and then climb the tree and move to the other side. Take your time to climb up the fallen tree. Jump on it, and then run back to avoid being crushed by a boulder. Understanding the Limbo plot is based on guesswork and assumptions. The most obvious option is Purgatory, where the souls of people go immediately after death. Episode 3ĭrag the boat to the ledge, climb first on its bow, and then on the ledge. Climb the wall to the right, then jump onto the rope. Run on until you see barely visible thorns on the ground. These are traps. Move one of them back and jump over it. When you see the rope, do not rush to grab it. First, move the trap to its edge. Only after that jump onto the rope and use it to climb onto the ledge. Press the action key to extend the cart. The default is Ctrl. Climb onto the wooden structure and climb down the rope. Jump to the right, run forward and get on the boat. On it you will cross to the other side. Run to the right and get down carefully. The main thing is to jump over the pit with stakes.

The second time was while I was writing this review. I’ve had to use them twice, once because my bridge wasn’t working, and they replaced it. After replacing the toilets the leak notifications went away and our water bill went back to normal.įlume customer service is performed over a chat app. I replaced all of the toilets in the house because they were 30 years old and weren’t very officiant. Like so tiny that he had to use a stethoscope to identify the leak. A really nice City of Tempe water department representative came out and determined that 2 of our toilets had a tiny leak. So back to my issue, did Flume detect a leak? The answer is yes it did. I will say as a family we’ve done a better job conserving water because we can view how much water we’re using in a given day. Honestly, I don’t Flume to its full potential. You can set up usage alerts and you’ll be notified when Flume thinks you have a leak. Pretty easy process.įlume claims their sensor is accurate up to one-hundredth of a gallon and while I haven’t tested it, in my experience, it’s pretty accurate.įlume has a feature called Detail+ and it allows you to see how much water is being used with each fixture or appliance. I followed the rest of the steps on the app and in about 15 minutes installation was complete. The Flume Sensor and the Flume Bridge need to be less than 1,000 feet away from each other. Next, I plugged in the Flume Bridge, and finally, I strapped the sensor to my water meter with the included strap. Something to keep in mind when it’s time to replace the battery pack at $20 a battery pack. The battery pack is this cute little rectangular box, when you open it up it’s just 4 Double A batteries soldered together. Next, I installed the proprietary battery in the Flume sensor. After installation, I filled the bucket up to the aforementioned mark, went to my Flume app, and it reported that I had used 5 gallons of water. This allows you to test how accurate the Flume is after it’s installed. I used a 1-gallon jug for accuracy and marked the bucket when I had added the required 5 gallons of water. There’s also a web interface.įlume recommends filling up a bucket with 5 gallons of water prior to installing the Flume. Once the Flume gods are satisfied, you can now view your data on your iOS or Android devices. The Flume measures the magnetic field and then sends that information to the Flume Bridge and the Flume Bridge sends that data to the Flume gods to be parsed. First, it receives the signal from the Flume sensor, and second, it connects to the internet via Wifi.Īccording to the Flume website, the typical water meter has a magnetic disc inside that spins when water is flowing through it. The second piece of equipment is the Flume Bridge. Think of it as the sensor giving the meter a hug. The sensor comes with a rubber strap and you simply place the rubber strap around the meter. The first piece is a sensor that is placed next to your water meter. Flume App Showing Water Usage by Timeįlume not only monitors your water usage but will also notify you if there’s a leak. To be more accurate I bought a Flume 2 but I don’t want to say Flume 2 throughout this review so I’m just going to say Flume. To prove that I was right and the city water department was wrong, I bought a Flume to monitor my ACTUAL water usage. I was starting to think the City of Tempe had one of those spots reserved spot in hell. We launched an exhaustive search that spanned 2 months and we could not find the leak. So small the only way we knew we had a leak was an alert from the City of Tempe telling us we have a leak. One of the issues we’ve had over the last 4 years is small water leaks. So far they’ve been minor but it hasn’t been without a ton of stress and a few unscrupulous plumbers who’ll find that when they die, they’ve had their spot in hell reserved for some time. I live in a 34-year-old house and we’ve had plumbing issues since the day we moved in, 4 years ago. “Of course,” said Sting, “I wasn’t aware of any of this. Which, though it might work, is simply false. It was, as he said, not intended as sinister while writing it that darkness was only added to it later. I thought I was just writing a hit song, and indeed it became one of the songs that defined the ’80s, and by accident the perfect soundtrack for Reagan’s Star Wars fantasy of control and seduction.” Ill give you good and plenty (Check it) Verse 2: The Notorious B.I.G. “ Of course,” he says, “I wasn’t aware of any of this. He is trapped in his circular obsessions.” In another interview from 1991, he was open about this shift, saying the song offers “no release of emotions or change in the point of view of the protagonist. I think I was thinking of Big Brother, of surveillance and control.” “ I didn’t realise at the time how sinister it is. The tune itself is generic, an aggregate of hundreds of others, but the words are interesting. “I woke up in the middle of the night with that line in my head,” he said, “sat down at the piano and had written it in half an hour. In 1991, to UK’s The Independent, Sting spoke of the origins of the song, admitting his own revisionism: Yet a little research confirmed that which we long suspected. Proof of this are the endless online stories which state this as the official meaning of this famous song. Evidently people love the idea of a song meaning something other than what it seems to be. It was a story that caught on immediately. This is the story which everyone now accepts as truth: although it seems sunny, it’s dark. And people have actually misinterpreted it as being a gentle little love song, when it’s quite the opposite.” “The song is very, very sinister,” Sting said to the BBC, “and ugly. He then started embellishing the story to tell us there was more to this song than we knew. “The song has the standard structure of a pop ballad,” he said, “but there is no harmonic development after the middle eight, no release of emotions.” Rather than celebrate his ability to create a song so pure that the masses loved it more than any of his songs, he would disparage its simplicity. Yet Sting has always seemed a little ashamed of its simplicity, as if that disqualifies it to be so much more loved and popular than those songs which offered more overt evidence of his brilliance. Most commonly used V4-UUID generators make use of cryptographically secure random number generator. As per RFC-4122, The version 4 UUID is meant for generating UUIDs from truly-random or pseudo-random numbers. The result is a pattern of 8-4-4-4-12 lower case characters a-f0-9. V4 UUID is quite commonly used to create API authentication tokens, like basic-auth or Oauth2 bearer tokens. A v4 UUID should be in the form of: xxxxxxxx-xxxx- 4 xxx- y xxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx. This function generates a valid v4 UUID up until one area. My knowledge in hex, decimal, binary, PHP's bitwise operators and the like is nearly nonexistent. The Version 4 UUIDs produced by this site were generated using a. By specifying fields 2-9 independently, we control the hyphens and strip off the index/offset counter that 'od' prefixes each line of output with. This is the closest I've been able to come. A Version 4 UUID is a universally unique identifier that is generated using random numbers. Head -n (where n>0) extracts just one line of the previous output.Īwk sets the OutputFieldSeparator to be a hyphen everywhere a comma occurs in the print statement. Od (octal dump) has a hex output switch (-x) producing 16 bytes per line. dev/random and /dev/urandom are kernel random generators. Of course, head -1 could be replaced with head -_other-value_ | tail -1 too. I am curious if this is prone to non-uniqueness, but I have not been 'bit'ten in the last 10 years. It is a Superflex league, after all, and the reason they’ve become increasingly popular over the years is because they have brought prestige to the most important position in football. It seems every drafter wants to grab two elite quarterbacks early and dominate the Superflex spot. Superflex drafts are the wild west of fantasy these days. What’s old is new again! Modified Zero QB can be this generation’s Studs & Streaming. I once wrote about a similar strategy for TwoQBs back in the day I dubbed Studs & Streaming: You draft a fantasy QB1 early (your stud) and pair him with a streaming duo later in your draft. Think of it more as stockpiling valuable assets at the other skill positions. Ignore might be too strong of a word, honestly. Simply put, it’s dedicating one of your first two picks to quarterback in a Superflex league and then ignoring the position until the mid-to-late rounds of your draft (or whenever you feel is the best time to attack the QB2 tier of signal-callers). What matters most is your philosophy to drafting fantasy teams, but I just wanted to put you in the right frame of mind as I discuss a potential draft strategy for Superflex leagues: Modified Zero QB (or, if you prefer Anchor QB or Hero QB). Justin Edwards has you covered for a detailed explanation on all running back strategies. They mean different things to different people, but I can’t control everybody’s #narrative. It’s called Modified Zero RB because it’s modifying Zero RB.įair warning, this is how I interpret both strategies. Modified Zero RB: An offshoot of Zero RB where you use early-round draft capital, say a first- or second-round pick, on running back, but then bypass the position for a little while, returning to your true Zero RB roots. Although, if that’s how you want to roll, you be you, pal. Note, this does not literally mean drafting zero running back for the entirety of your draft. Zero RB: Not using early-round draft capital on running backs in order to attack other positions such as wide receiver and tight end (especially important in leagues that award points for receptions). The term Anchor RB or Hero RB has become en vogue recently as a replacement for Modified Zero RB. I first heard the term Modified Zero RB ushered back in 2016 by on Twitter, using it as a way to describe an offshoot of the Zero RB draft strategy-which is to take a running back early and then forget about the position for a while as you stockpile assets in the mid rounds. There’s been plenty of debates over the validity behind the philosophy of Zero RB, for example, but this offseason’s debate club has zeroed in on how much they loathe the term Modified Zero RB. What’s in a name? Everything, if you ask #FantasyTwitter. BetMGM + 4for4 Sub Deal (Free Betting Subscription).VividPicks + 4for4 Sub Deal (Free Subscription). The real noise issue comes from your neighbours as there is little if any sound insulation in the walls. As others have said the motel is next to a train line so there is some noise but it's not too bad. See the pic below of the inside of the coffee maker.yuck. The rooms are just OK but I got the distinct impression that cleanliness is not one of their strong suits. Space Age stuff aside it is very basic motel with a very ordinary restaurant. I think the "Space Age" gimmick which is really no more than a couple of photos and some Disney like space stuff allows them to charge a bit more than average. I paid about $165 as a Best Western member which is not exactly cheap for a two star roadside motel in a small town. I'm picky about my gravy, but whoever was cooking that night knew what they were doing! The onion rings were crispy and light, and the breading on them and the chicken was not at all oily, which made us happy. Would be a nice meal if that was what you were in the mood for. It has a nice assortment of fruits, and "chef salad" fixings, with the standard toppings. They were out of side salads, so we got a round at the little salad bar instead. We ordered the chicken fried chicken with whipped potatoes and white gravy (which also came with a side of steamed broccoli and a side salad) and a grilled cheese sandwich with onion rings. Nothing complicated, or fancy, just good food and a bit of road-trip fun. This quirky restaurant is exactly what we expected it to be: a nifty little space-themed diner. It is a good place to go if you're hungover, starving, haven't been fed in days and can't wait to eat. Supposedly from the reviews breakfasts are good. I don't want to criticize too much, because at least this place is open, and it must appeal to locals who want something other than fast food. The other souvenirs they had looked like items made in China. We would have bought a Space Age coffee cup, but they were all out. On a positive note, the decor is interesting and fun. This place could be a really tasty restaurant if someone would add a bit of originality to the menu and create more homemade and authentic offerings. That's okay, but all together it reminded me of a chain restaurant like Denny's or an old folks home where the soup and salad dressings taste like they come from a can or bottle, and nothing is unique or original except the space ships. And the waitress didn't seem to understand our order so well. The salad bar was available but there wasn't much appealing about it. However, the meal was average and a bit overpriced for what appears on your plate - it looked like something your mom would make you for school lunch. it would be something to rave about and a place to stop every time we pass through. If only the food and service were more notable. We stopped at the Space Age Hotel, which has been around since we were kids, and went into the restaurant for an American lunch on our way home from Mexico. Delete extra layers and place the CAD group on a new layer. For example, you want the right angles in a floor plan to line up with the red and green axes, so that the SketchUp inference engine makes drawing over your floor plan easy. Where the base map library permits, deck.gl may interleave with 3D map layers to create seamless visualizations. Line up the floor plan with SketchUp's drawing axes using the Rotate tool or the Axes tool (). Though the contradictory forecasts aren’t really anything new–the Farmer’s Almanac and NOAA have had contradicting predictions for NYC’s upcoming winter for the past three years.Īnd, speaking of, meteorologists are predicting a “frosty, flakey, slushy” winter for NYC this year, which you can read all about here. This report shows the past weather for New York City, providing a weather history for November 2021. We had double-digit temperature departures from normal, and the city came alive. The highlight of the warm weather was a six-day stretch where temperatures peaked in the 70s. The average temperature for the month was 53 degrees. On the other hand, however, the Farmer’s Almanac is challenging these forecasts and predicting a cooler fall with lower-than-normal temperatures. November 2020 went into the record books as the warmest November on record. The team of long-range forecasters at AccuWeather, led by veteran meteorologist Paul Pastelok, even predict that the temperature could top out around 90º in NYC during the first week or two of September. Thankfully, precipitation forecasts are not following suit, as the NOAA is predicting average amounts of rainfall.
